Sale is the Goal

Here I will share about the goal of sale. A sales person should have some target to sell something whether it may be product or services. Ultimately he has to produce some result at the end of the day. Sales is a technique which needs the presentation skills, targeting for the right people, making awareness about the need to the potential customers, creating interest about the product or services, communication skills, all the most important convincing the potential customer to take a decision to buy the product.

I would say, the successful sales man may not have all the above qualities on right ratio, he may expert in presentation skills or convincing the people, or he can attract the people to turn to his side by using this special skills. Finally he can achieve the goal of selling.

Above is the definition of SALE. Sale is an art which needs exclusive knowledge on the side of technical as well social to influence the people to make them to buy your product. One who is having the knowledge of Technical about the product may not be successful always and the other way around who has knowledge of selling technique also not successful always because lacking of the technical skills.

Selling a Service is little difficult than selling a product, because product we can show to the buyers and make them to buy whereas the service we can not show it, they may not able to feel or touch the service we are going to sell to the targeted audience. But one who is familiar with selling the service may or may not be successful in selling a product.

Finally Sale is the Goal of a sales man, but he should not forget that whether the sold goods or services is really needed for the buyer or not. Also the sales man should keep in mind that a satisfied customers will bring 10 new customers on the other way a dissatisfied customers will make 100 potential customers to run away from you. Here the sales man should be careful with the issues raised by the customers ever after sales. That we mean as Sales After Service and keeping the good rapport with the existing customers to get multiple customers through him.

To make a successful sale, the sales man can convince the potential customer, but he should not force to take decision to buy a product which is not at all useful for him.
This is like trying to sell Shoes to one who don't have legs at all.

Targeting the potential customer is the first of a sales, then making them aware about the use of the product we want to sell him, finally convincing him to make a decision to buy.


To Conclude I would say A Sales is an art. A successful sales man may have the knowledge in all disciplines. He should be a personality of easy moving, persuading the people, center of attraction, a creator, good listener and a good human being.
